Current Project Restoration of Coats of Arms

The Edward VI Coat of Arms in the workshops of Plowden & Smith.

This unique painting, the second oldest known Royal Coat of Arms, is being examined by the Senior Painting Restorer, Susan Moore, and the English Heritage Curator, Treve Rosoman.

They are discussing the possibility of dating the painting which is on oak panels, by studying the tree rings exposed on the side

Grand Dinner and Entertainment by the National Youth Ballet at Squerryes Court:
'Diamonds in the soles of her shoes' in Celebration of the Queen's Diamond Jubilee was a superb evening. Huge thanks to John & Anthea Warde for their hospitality, Pauline Green for the wonderful food, and all those associated with the sparkling NYB performance.

Not only was it a great evening, but it raised £4700 for the Heritage Trust.

Michael Coates Quartet  played "The Great play American Song Book" in St Mary's Church.

A highly successfull and acclaimed concert!

The quartet, led by Michael Coates on saxophone, includes Geoff Eales on piano, Paul Morgan on Bass, and singer Jacqui Hicks.

A look back at the highlights of 2011

scarecrow logo

There were over 100 scarecrows, with Trails to follow, two re-enacted 18th century battles and living camp, a Barn Dance and a Fair on The Green.  Westerham looked good, and everyone had a good time. Even the weather cooperated!
